A Prayer to Break Stagnation and Limitations

If you have found yourself on the Abide in Prayer Ministry page, I pray this prayer for you. I pray that all limitations, hindrances, and barriers affecting your life will be broken.

El Shaddai, our almighty God, great are you Lord and greatly to be praised. You are the everlasting God and the creator of the ends of the earth. Your greatness is broader than the earth and wider than the sea. There is no limit to your power, You can do all that we ask, think, or imagine, and so much more. Power and glory belong to You!

El Shaddai, I pray that every limitation, hindrance, and barrier that exists in the lives of your children be broken today by your power. Every limit that has been restraining and frustrating your children, let them be totally consumed by the fire of your power. Lord, I pray that you break spiritual limits, limits in ministry, financial limits, marital limits, limits over destinies, limits over families, limits on the job, and every other limit. 

Lord, I pray specifically against spiritual limits; those limits causing spiritual stagnation so your children are stuck at one level and are not able to advance and level up spiritually. Lord, I pray that you destroy every spiritual limitation that is preventing your children from living out their God-given purpose fully, or from living a victorious life. I pray that they will experience no more delays or interruptions in their growth. 

Lord, I pray that everyone bound by shame and condemnation will be set free today. Lord, I pray that freedom will be released over the lives of your children, freedom from shame, condemnation, guilt, negative pronouncements, and negative expectations. Remind someone today that their sins are forgiven, that they are not condemned, that they are a new creation, and that they are the righteousness of God in Christ.

Lord, I pray that you break the grasshopper mentality from your children. I pray that your children will not see their current circumstances but they will see how big you are. I pray that your children will not settle for less than what you have promised or purposed for them. I pray that your children will not be afraid to hope or to dream big. I pray that they will pursue all that you have promised and ordained for them because you are faithful and more than able to accomplish it.

Lord, I pray that you open every door that the enemy has shut, break in pieces every gate, and cut the bars of iron off every opportunity, connection, and blessing that belongs to your children. I pray that today marks the beginning of a season of restoration for all those whose lives have been interrupted by the enemy and also those who have been robbed by the enemy.  Lord, I pray for supernatural speed in their restoration process.

Lord, I pray that your children’s vision will be aligned with your truth. From this day forward, I pray that negative, fearful, and doubtful thoughts will be replaced with positive and hopeful ones that align with the truths in scripture. I pray that they will see their marriages flourishing, they will see their health improving, they will see their spiritual lives thriving, their careers prospering, their families prospering, and they will see their situations changing and improving. Lord, I pray that you shatter every mental limitation today.

Abba Father, I pray that your children will have the abundant life that Jesus promised and that is available to them. I pray that mountains become plains before them and that they will walk in freedom and victory continually. I pray that from this day forward they will accelerate! Let your children rejoice in the bounty of their God.
