Blessed are you, my God, King of the universe. Your love for me is steadfast, and it never ceases. You are the strength of my heart and my portion forever; apart from you, I have no good thing. Adonai, your eyes are toward the righteous, and your ears are open to our cry; you will continue to sustain us. Where can I go that you cannot find me? How low can I be in my spirit or how distant from you can I feel that you cannot restore me? If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. You have sealed me with your Holy Spirit. I am yours forever.

Adonai, I echo King David’s cry; earnestly I seek you, I thirst for you, my soul longs for you, just as a deer longs for streams of water. As you made water spring from the rock as the children of Israel journeyed through the wilderness, and you quenched their natural thirst, I pray that your living water will spring forth and water my parched soul. I am desperate for you, oh God, revive me again. Adonai, I trust in your lovingkindness and faithfulness. I am confident that my heart shall once again rejoice and delight in your salvation, and I will sing unto you because you have dealt bountifully with me. My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!

Holy Father, I repent of every sin that may be causing me to experience this season of spiritual drought. Help me abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against my soul. Help me to walk by your Holy Spirit daily. Even now, I demolish all the enemy’s schemes to rob me of my joy, my identity and confidence in Christ, and my spiritual passion and fire. As you restored your people in the time of Gideon when the Midianites came into Israel’s camp and impoverished them and left their souls cast down. I am confident that Adonai will also revive me. I command my soul to praise and exalt the Living God because he is my strong tower, and I will never be shaken. The Lord Almighty is with me; the God of Jacob is my fortress. I declare that I will not be slothful, but I will serve the Lord with enthusiasm and passion. I will love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul, and mind.

Father, I pray that this experience will teach me endurance and resilience, and may I never take seasons of refreshing for granted. I commit every area of my life to your good pleasure, and I ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Joel 2: 25 – And I will restore to you the years that the locusts hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
