You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created. You are a compassionate and gracious God, always abounding in love and faithfulness. Great are you Lord!
Lord, I love you, but I feel like I have lost my zeal and the joy of being your child. I feel as if my walk with you is becoming a routine and a duty. With a sincere heart, I approach you because I don’t want it to continue like this. I come boldly to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace to help me in my time of need. My loving Abba, I approach you confidently, knowing that you will not turn away from me or condemn me, for nothing can separate me from your love or change my position as your treasured child.
Abba Father, I know this is not your desire for me. By grace, you have brought me into a beautiful relationship and fellowship. I pray that you set my heart on fire for you. I pray that enthusiasm and joy will once again begin to stir within me. Break every spirit of sluggishness and discouragement. Please help me to love your presence again; please help me to love reading the scriptures again. Lord, I want to delight in you again and be filled with passion and excitement about our relationship. Please restore to me the joy of your salvation so I can love You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. In Jesus Name, Amen!
