Dear Father,
As Joseph embraced his brothers after the hurt and betrayal, I pray that you help me forgive and love those who have caused me pain. Please replace feelings of bitterness, resentment, and hatred with love and mercy. Through the empowering of your Holy Spirit, I pray that I will dismiss negative thoughts and not speak negatively or seek vengeance against those who wronged me. I pray that the love and peace of Christ will be evident in my interactions with those who have caused me pain.
