Judges 6:12 When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor”
Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. The Lord is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. Who is like the Lord our God?
Lord, I thank you for choosing me to fulfill your purpose in the earth. Please help me focus on you instead of my limitations, because if you have called me then you have already made the provision and you will equip me for success. My confidence will rest in the promise that “The Lord is with me”. Thank you for seeing beyond my weaknesses and limitations, and may I never forget that you are El-Shaddai, the Almighty God.
Lord, my prayer is that I will respond to your instructions with faith instead of uncertainty and disbelief. I know sometimes doubt creeps in, but Lord help me overcome my unbelief! Even in moments of weakness and doubt, it is such a joy to know I am not rejected by you. Abba Father, I am beyond grateful for your goodness towards me.
Lord, please help me to follow your instructions even if they seem foolish. In the same way you told Gideon to reduce the army to 300 men even though he was facing an army of thousands, help me walk in obedience to you and trust you with what little you have given me. Lord, your strategies may seem unusual and even foolish, but if you give the command, victory is guaranteed. Even when I face opposition from those who are supposed to stand with me, may I not be discouraged, but press on to complete the assignment!
Adonai, please help me not be afraid to stand against people, philosophies, and anything that contradicts the truth of your word. Even if I have to stand alone, I pray that like Gideon, I will be a man/woman of valor! I pray that courage will overcome fear as I seek to do what you have commanded. May I never be proud or take credit for whatever way you choose to use me. You will get the glory out of every victory, every success and every triumph. The words on my lips will be “My God did it!
Lord, as you used Gideon to defeat the enemies of Israel, I stand in faith, having the full assurance that as I walk in obedience, I too will be victorious over the enemy. Amen
