Thank you, almighty and all-knowing God, for orchestrating my journey. Thank you for being a God who can turn an evil intention into a beatiful story. Thank you for being the kind of God who keeps his promises no matter how long it takes. Thank you for being a God who never takes a break or sleeps. You are indeed El-Shaddai, the only all-sufficient and almighty one.
Lord, I acknowledge that your plans and purposes are greater than my circumstances and even my understanding. Help me to identify your hand at work in the unpleasant seasons of my life. As with Joseph, I pray that I will not be discouraged by the seasons that may feel like I am in prison or a pit, because they are preparations for the palace. In my pit you are with me! In the prison you’re still working! Adonai, I trust in your divine providence and believe that you are working out your perfect plans for me. Lord, help me to never lose hope or faith in the midst of my storms. During times of adversity, may I cling to your promises and surrender to your will, because only you know what the bigger picture is.
Like Joseph, I pray that I will stand for holiness and do what pleases you regardless of the consequences. Lord, please provide me with the power to flee all temptations and pursue righteousness. As Joseph did with his brothers, help me to show compassion and extend forgiveness towards those who have wronged me. During my own difficult seasons, help me to still look out for the interest of others and offer help when needed.
Father, I pray that I will demonstrate good stewardship, strong work ethics, and integrity in the workplace. I desire that everything I do, whether in words or actions, will be done to the glory and honor of your name. Wherever I go, I pray you will surround me with favor and success. Please grant me favor with people of worldly influence for your name’s sake. I pray that my gifts, like Jospeh, will make room for me and that my life will honor you in all seasons. As you blessed Potiphar’s house because of Jacob, may you bless others whose lives are connected to mine. I thank you, Adonai, for being constant and for never letting my difficult seasons destroy me. Indeed, you are Jehovah Nissi, the Lord my banner! All glory, honor, and praise belong to you. Amen
