James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Lord, I know that you can do all things, and nothing can stand in the way of your purpose. I believe that you are still a healer, and you have authority over every sickness. Your word tells me that you opened the eyes of the blind and the ears of the deaf; you made the lame to walk and the dumb to speak. Jesus, when you walked this earth, people brought to you all who had various kinds of sickness, and you healed them all. Father, your word says that everything written in the past was to teach me, so I might have hope through the encouragement they provide. These examples in scripture give me hope that you can do the same for ________. I pray that you will have mercy and heal your servant in the name and authority of Christ Jesus. I cry to you for help oh Lord, because your servant needs you. I pray that they might prosper in every way and enjoy good health, even as their soul also prospers. Lord, if you are willing, I know you can make them well.
Loving Father, I pray that your servants will not become discouraged. Though the physical man may be wasting away, may their inner man be renewed day by day. Lord, I thank you that your grace is sufficient in all situations, and your power is made perfect in our weaknesses. Although we know our citizenship is in heaven, and we are just temporary residents here on earth, we look to you in faith and ask you to heal your children. May your will be done oh God. Amen
