Lord, I acknowledge that I have walked away from your word, your truth, and your will. I have loved other things more than you, and I have pursued my own desires. I admit that I have not been living as a Child of God or walking in the Spirit. Instead, I have been enticed by the things of the world and the lusts of the flesh. I ask you to forgive me of all my transgressions, sins, and iniquities and wash me thoroughly with the blood of Jesus. Break the hold of sin over my life and stir my heart towards Godly things. Holy Father, please remove all shame and condemnation. Open my heart to accept your forgiveness, so I can move forward in purpose and not be burdened by the mistakes I made. 

Lord, I ask you to renew my heart, mind, and desires to align with your precepts. Please restore my joy in your salvation and my relationship with you. Teach me to love you again, love your word again, love your presence again. Lord, I turn away from the world and the desires of the flesh, and I return to you with my whole heart. Lord, I am done running! I surrender to your plans for my life. I accept that life outside you is empty and purposeless because my true purpose is found only in the one who created me. Lord, fill me again with your Holy Spirit and consume my heart with your everlasting love. 

Father, I know I don’t deserve it, but I thank you for your love, mercy, and forgiveness. I commit every area of my life to your good pleasure. I ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, my redeemer. Amen
